Ray Doyle Marital status: Married Number of children: 2 Occupation: Staff Accountant Location: Cape Girardeau MO Comments: Married 28 years to Sandra (Sandy), two children - Rachel and Stuart, two grandchildren - Matthew and Jaden, and two dogs - Missy and Buddy. Living in Cape Girardeau MO since 1980 and working as a staff accountant with a regional CPA firm here in Cape. Once we located here in Cape we found it to be the perfect spot for us to settle. Close enough to both sets of parents to visit without extended travel, college town and work opportunity. I worked for an insurance marketing group as a marketing director and recruiter for 17 years. I started at KEB 8 years ago as a staff accountant, (guess Mrs. Jones Bookkeeping class stuck). Sandy is a manager at the J C Penny store here in Cape. We pretty much do the things middle aged people do, work, rest, worry about the kids, and take care of grandson, nothing exotic so to speak. |
Rosemary DoyleLocation: Poplar Bluff, MO Comments: I am now OLD, officially. I'm 65, have graying hair, and thickening waistline of an old Great-Grandmother! I finished up my teaching career at Holcomb, MO, the school I went to after leaving New Bloomfield. I retired in 1993, and Don, the farmer husband, let the hired hand go, and put me to work driving the tractors and trucks. For the past 12 years I have helped plant rice, beans and corn. Then in the fall, I drive the trucks to haul it all off to sell at the elevator. Ethan, our younger son, started farming with us 5 years ago. For the first time in a long time I haven't done much driving this year. I told them I was too blamed old! I've had fun these past few years with grandkids of all ages. I love to read, and I take care of a big yard and garden. I remember my New Bloomfield students with great affection. I also remember trying to keep all of this class inside their cabins on their senior trip!! That may have been the last time I stayed up all night. I hope to see you August 5th. |

Beth Harrison Bonner Comments: My life has been through all sorts of serendipitous changes. At the last reunion I was busy with 2 active kids and a small decorative arts/sign business. That sign business led to all sorts of interesting adventures...I ended up with 2 other businesses through it: a Taekwondo School (yes, I was the instructor) and a Day Spa. The Spa led to my becoming licensed as a Massage Therapist and a couple of years ago I went into private practice. Since then I have moved the practice to my home and I LOVE my situation. The house is in the final phases of building. We're finally down to mainly landscaping but with 2 kids in college it's slow going. As you can see it's been a busy 10 years...I can hardly believe it's been that long! |

Sorry we will not be able to join you for the reunion as we planned a special Florida trip for our oldest granddaughter Ashton who will be turning 13 this year. Hope everyone has a great time at the reunion and we will stop in to say “Hi” if our return flight goes as planned that afternoon. |

Debbie McKim JohnsonMarital status: Married (27 years!) Number of children: 2 daughters (Jessica Johnson Crum, 26, and Meghan Johnson, 22) Occupation: Executive Assistant to the President of Missouri Farm Bureau Location: Centertown, MO Comments: After living in New Bloomfield for 16 years, Mike and I bought 32 acres from his mother and built a new house outside Centertown, MO, in 2003. I've worked at Missouri Farm Bureau for nearly 22 years and Mike is a gas pipeline welder for AmerenUE. We have two daughters. Jessica married Jason Crum on December 31, 2005, and is the Director of Human Resources for the eight banks just purchased by Maries County Bank in Vienna, MO. She's about mid-way through completing her Master's Degree in Business Administration. Our son-in-law is a mechanical engineer for Siemens Power Generation Company who travels around the country (and world) working on power plant turbines. Meghan just graduated Summa Cum Laude from Central Missouri State University with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She has accepted a Title I teaching position at School of the Osage at the Lake of the Ozarks and will be moving there in late summer. She has a gift for working with "special" children. I love to cook, walk (3 miles every day!), and am learning a lot about landscaping and flower gardening. I am also an editor for Reiman Publications' Taste of Home magazine and have contributed to their Quick Cooking and Light & Tasty magazines. I can't believe it's been 30 years since graduation--didn't 40 something seem awfully old back then? Funny, how it doesn't seem that way now! I look forward to catching up with everyone, especially those I haven't seen since our 20 year reunion. I appreciate the committee of people who are organizing this event. |
